Alicia & Jane

Alicia Fox, M.A. CCC-SLP:
For the past 20 years, Alicia has been practicing speech-language pathology in a variety of settings: home care, elementary schools, acute care/rehabilitation hospitals and nursing homes. She specializes in the treatment of child language and articulation delays, motor speech disorders, auditory processing disorders and stuttering. Alicia understands the communication issues related to the Autism Spectrum Disorders. She worked at the Delaware Autistic Program, learning PECS from the people who developed the strategy there. In July 2009, Alicia attended a week long workshop by the Stuttering Foundation, focused on treatment techniques for children and adults who stutter.  She also has extensive experience treating adult swallowing issues. Alicia is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the state of Oregon to practice Speech-Language Pathology. (you may know her as Alicia Leary)

Jane Schnell Legg, M.S. CCC-SLP:
Jane has extensive experience working with young children. She has focused her practice in children’s communication disorders including articulation, expressive and receptive language disorders, and stuttering. She also has specialty training in Augmentative Communication solutions for children with severe communication and motor challenges. Jane is a member of American Speech and Hearing Association. Living in Central Oregon for 19 yrs., Jane enjoys all aspects of Bend life with her husband, John, including fishing, rafting, and hiking with her dog, Sadie.
